The irregular, textured surface evokes cracked and scorched earth, characteristic of harsh volcanic or lunar landscapes.
Alongside references to the natural world, another compelling interpretation is a poetic comparison of these abstract, almost totemic forms to traces of an ancient, mysterious civilization discovered by an archaeologist. The lamps become sculptural objects imbued with metaphor—links to a distant past, when the connection with nature was closer, almost within reach.
These lamps—sculptures—totems conceptually merge natural forces with human craftsmanship. The unifying element is light: fire as a powerful, untamed force capable of transforming rock, and light as energy harnessed by humans. An energy that not only provides warmth but also creates a sense of calm and safety.
Each lamp is handcrafted from cellulose fiber and water-based adhesive. The collection is available in a grey tone.
