Ceiling lamp Morphe I

Ceiling lamp Morphe is handcrafted from pulped newspapers

Term “morphe” , derived from Greek, means “shape”. Visually ceiling lamp Morphe has many connotations with the zoomorphic and amorphous forms like eggs, amoebas, oblong stones riddled by sea waves. Smooth and oval surface accentuates irregular recesses, unique wrinkles in each of the lamps. No two lamps are the same and each piece tells a different story. Furthermore Morphe lamps, except from the practical function, can be an essential element of any interior decor.

Material:

The Morphe lamp is very lightweight and durable. It is handcrafted entirely from pulped newspapers, ecologic, water based glue and natural pigments. In conclusion all these components, as well as the process of lamp formation, are environmentally friendly and ecological.

Colour and textile cable:

This paper mache light shade is painted with natural pigments and is supplied with Cotton White textile cable (1m). Moreover you should use only LED bulbs up to 20W hence the bulb is not included. This lamp requires a bulb with an E27 ending.

Lamp was shown at the London Design Fair in 2017. Plenty of newspapers showcased this collection. Most importantly: Label Magazine, Archiproducts, Design Alive, Furnishing International and above all Design Wanted.
